The TRIDEC Project was honored with the IRM Global Risk Award 2013 in the category ‘Managing Risks across Boundaries‘.

The Institute of Risk Management (IRM) is the world‘s leading enterprise-wide risk education institute. As a non-for-profit organization, IRM believes in the importance of risk management and that investment in education and continual professional development leads to more effective risk management.

The award winners were revealed at the prestigious Grand Connaught Rooms in London on February 28, 2013, with around 350 leading international risk professionals attending.

The award was received by Martin Hammitzsch and Dorit Kerschke of the Centre of GeoInformation Technology (CeGIT).

The TRIDEC Project successfully competed against the Intel Corporation, SAP AG, Nest Investment Holdings, and Parsons Brinkerhoff that were also nominated in this category.
